Not TVP. They're like meaty chunks. Just boil and drain and you gots a lovely chicken or beef substitute. Same makers of that Cajun Jerquee stuff, so... Works great with the etoufee mix found elsewhere on this site. This stuff is good, don't be fooled by the train-wreck of a photo.
INGREDIENTS: Defatted soy flour, purified water, vegetable oil (soybean oil or Trisun 80 hybrid sunflower oil), autolyzed yeast (or inactive yeast extract), natural flavoring (onion powder and/or garlic powder, and/or soy sauce (soybeans, water, salt) and/or celery powder and/or cumin and/or coriander and/or salt), potassium sorbate and/or citric acid.
